What is a crown?
A crown is a prosthetic cap cemented onto your existing tooth or attached to a dental implant. It covers the entirety of the tooth or implant above the gumline.

How do I get a crown or bridge?
After removing some of the enamel from the tooth that’s going to be receiving the crown, Dr. Barker takes a precise impression of your mouth with an iTero Element® intraoral scanner.
He sends that impression to a lab where a technician sculpts your crown or bridge according to the unique aspects of your bite. When the lab finishes making your crown, Dr. Barker seals it in place.
